Improved efficiency of branch office information systems by more than 20%. * Manage all branch automated systems for training, scheduling and engineering operations. Coordinate and maintain automated systems such as E-mail, travel arrangements and various correspondence data. ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT
* Managed development and implementation of fully integrated Digital Operational Intercommunications System (OIS-D) to update launch equipment installation. Installation was previously not integrated with launch operations scheduling and had to be updated continuously. Timely scheduling of this operation reduced overtime costs for installation. * Specify and administer all procurement activity for branch equipment. Continuously monitor hardware and software requirements for specific jobs or tasks to ensure equipment is capable of achieving the task. * Developed and documented all security specifications and procedures for OIS-D system. This system monitored the overall operations and permission sets for the entire Kennedy Space Center. System security had to be maintained to ensure protection from outside intervention. * Aided in the designed and implementation of network database for all engineering drawings for branch. Configured drawing database access for all branch workstations. This allowed all engineers, both NASA and contractor, to access drawings for review before final release. Improved logistical drawing review and allowed redline corrections on-line. * NASA engineer responsible for overseeing contractor in upgrading audio segment of KSC News Facility and Press Site. Implemented state-of-the-art communications facility to accommodate national news and world-wide organizations on schedule and within budget. FISCAL MANAGEMENT
