Niona was always a quiet child that had a lot of lucky breaks. She once fell from a tree and only suffered a few scratches. She was silently curious, and she would wander off. One time she wandered into the camp of rough looking men and women. Luck had it that they were kindly disposed towards children and were willing to help her find her way back home. One of those adventurers was a priest of Tymora. He talked to Niona all the way home and told her of the church. She was awed by the prospect of joining. He had a feeling that Tymora wanted this child. When they got her home, the priest encouraged Niona to read about the faith. He left her a small book with some of the teachings of Tymora with her parents. They gave her the book when she was a little older.
She eventually ventured out to find a temple. It took her a few months, but she would not stop until she had. When she found a temple, she told her story of her search. The clergy were impressed with her, and she started her training that day.
She finally finished her training and left the temple for the adventurer's life. She found a group of women lead by Awnday Ar'iemay. In her home and in the temple, she had not had that many dealings with elves, and here was her chance to learn. The group was contentious at times. She did her best to keep things sane. She got to travel to the home of the majority of the group. That opened her eyes. She still travels with Awnday and the rest.
