Trioligarchy

This is the time of peace…True peace. War has been eliminated, crime is non-existent, and violence has been wiped off the face of the planet. No country violated another’s boundaries, no one cared about skin color, religion, or political beliefs, and domestic violence was forgotten in this new age. Disease was unknown. This new age had a terrible price.

Countries had been privatized; religion had been abolished; there is only one race, an amalgamation of all races; and violence was stopped by fear of laws that dealt swift justice. Scientists found and destroyed all viruses and cured all dysfunctions, but only through genetic testing of the population which led to a breeding program that kept certain people from having children.

The companies merged. The law was the companies. The science was the companies. The populous was the companies.

There is now one company — one law — one science — one people…at least that is what they are telling you…

In this time there is technology so small that the unaltered human eye could not see it, there are those that use technology in ways even its inventors never dreamed possible. These technology users are considered wizards and sorceresses. These people are feared by those that could not utilize the technology so well.

There were devices that are so small that they could record whole conversations for playback through a device that was embedded in a tooth. There are implants that fit inside the ear, invisible to the naked eye, that could turn normal people into telepaths. Some people are wired into a computer system so advanced that they can get information just by thinking about it. This technology is so powerful that the company fears the users of it.

This technology is beyond the company’s reach — they have to have it at any price — the wizards will not give in.

This is a time when people had time to explore their inner most selves. Some who did this found that they had powers beyond what they had expected. Some could transmit thoughts; some could move objects. These were the psyons.

The psyons have a power in and of themselves. They are not a cohesive group, but they are coming together. Sects would find each other. Sects would join forces. These people are known to the company, and the company is enraged that these people had gotten out of their control.

These minds are independent — these minds are not within the company’s control — these minds want power.

In the middle of this struggle are the normal men and women of the world. They know about the company, the wizards, and the psyons. What they do not know is that the three sides are at war. They believe that there is nothing wrong in the world. They believe what they are told. They do not question what is happening around them.

The people do not know that they could die and be erased by all sides. They could cease to exist before you could count to one.

This is the story of an accountant, a telepath, a doctor, and a delivery boy who got tangled in this web of intrigue and fought their way out.
