In the beginning life was calm and simple. I would do my chores around the house with my sisters, Jennifer and Rebecca. Jennifer, being the oldest, was in charge of us because our mother, Cynthia, died after I was born. Out father, Heath, did not remarry for he feared we would resent our new mother, and he also feared new new wife would mistreat us.
My father was a doctor; he was one of a few men whom were doctors. Jennifer would take care of the house with Rebecca and me. Rebecca is sixteen; Jennifer is nineteen; and I am fifteen. We clean the house while our father is away at work. Jennifer's chores are to do general work around the house. Rebecca washes the dishes and cleans the fireplace. I make breakfast and lunch. All of us help make dinner.
Before we wake up, our father brings eggs in from the chicken house. I would wake up in the morning, get dressed, and go downstairs to make breakfast.
